Ersatzgummis für die Dino-Riders

Auch wenn man am liebsten alles original hätte, ist es bei manchen Dingen leider einfach nicht möglich. Und dazu zählen definitiv die Gummibänder der Dino-Riders. Diese sind nach 40 Jahren absolut unbrauchbar. Die benutzten Gummis sind ausgetrocknet und zerbröseln und die noch eingepackten Gummis sind so weich, dass sie sofort reißen. Und mit normalen Gummibändchen, oder sogar ohne, will man sich die Dinos ja auch nicht in die Vitrine stellen.

Daher biete ich euch hier mit enormem Aufwand produzierte Ersatzgummis an.

Die Gummis wurden nicht mit dem Cutter/ Schere geschnitten, sondern wurden maschinell gefertigt.

Als Vorlage wurden Original-Gummis genommen, die sich noch in den Boxen in ungeöffneten Tütchen befanden. Sie haben also exakt die gleiche Größe wie die Originalen, auch in der Dicke.

Auch der Original RAL-Farbcode wurde für die Fertigung benutzt.

Zum Material: Dieses wurde optimiert. Zum einen sind die Ersatzgummis aus langlebigem Silikon-Gummi gefertigt und zum anderen sind sie elastischer, damit die Rüstungen keiner Spannung ausgesetzt sind. Das heißt, sie sitzen zwar perfekt, aber es wirkt sich kein Druck auf das 40 Jahre alte Plastik aus, um es nicht zu belasten.

Replacement Rubber Bands for the Dino Riders

Even if you'd love to have everything original, unfortunately, with some things it's simply not possible. And that definitely includes the rubber bands for the Dino Riders. After 40 years, they're completely unusable. The used rubber bands have dried out and crumbled, and the ones still in their packaging are so soft that they tear immediately. And you wouldn't want to display the dinosaurs with regular rubber bands, or even without them. Therefore, I'm offering you replacement rubber bands that were produced with enormous effort. The rubber bands weren't cut with cutters or scissors, but were machine-made. Original rubber bands that were still in the boxes in unopened bags were used as a template. So they are exactly the same size as the originals, including the thickness. The original RAL color code was also used for production. Regarding the material: This has been optimized. Firstly, the replacement rubbers are made of durable silicone rubber, and secondly, they're more elastic so the armor isn't subjected to tension. This means they fit perfectly, but there's no pressure on the 40-year-old plastic, so as not to put any strain on it.
