Custom Box des nie erschienenen Dinos, den es nur als Prototyp gab.

Vom Original existiert nur ein einziges Bild, das 1987 im US-Mattel-Händlerkatalog veröffentlicht wurde.

Hier habt ihr nun die Möglichkeit ein Custom der Box zu erwerben, wie sie damals hätte aussehen können, d.h. alles ist im gleichen Stil wie die anderen Dino-Verpackungen die es damals gab.

• Material & Druck: Hochwertiger Druck auf stabiler Kartonage (wie die Vintage Eternia)

• Artwork: Von Grund auf selbst gestaltet – orientiert an zeitgenössischen Verpackungsdesigns der anderen Dinos der PoG-Line

• Lieferumfang: Nur die Box, ohne Dino oder Inhalt !!!

Zu der öfter kommenden Frage: „Die Box ist zwar groß, aber war der Dino nicht noch größer?“ – Richtig, nach Aufbau vermutlich schon. Doch Mattel verpackte viele Fahrzeuge zerlegt (Spydor, Fright Fighter, Turbodactyl...) und so waren die Boxen deutlich kleiner als die aufgebauten Toys. Es ist sehr wahrscheinlich, dass man auch beim Gigantisaur z.B. Hals oder Schwanz demontiert hätte – daher ist die Box historisch plausibel dimensioniert. Auf dem letzten Bild seht ihr He-Man neben der Box stehen als Größenvergleich.

To the frequently asked question: "The box is big, but wasn't the dinosaur even bigger?" – Correct, after assembly, probably yes. However, Mattel packaged many vehicles disassembled (Spydor, Fright Fighter, Turbodactyl, etc.), so the boxes were significantly smaller than the assembled toys. It's very likely that the Gigantisaur's neck or tail would have been removed as well—so the box is historically plausible in size.
